Dr. Ashley Spector

-Dr. Ashley Spector graduated Magna Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic, one of the top ranked chiropractic colleges in the country. During her internship, she was selected for an exclusive program that allowed her to work at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas. At the VA Hospital, Dr. Spector treated many challenging cases but realized through that experience that she wanted to focus on treating more families, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and helping prevent injuries and illness. Now that she is in private practice, she specializes in women's health, pediatrics, and pre/post-natal care. She is a certified perinatal fitness instructor and also has post-graduate training in treating neurological conditions.
-Dr. Spector received her bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry emphasis from the University of San Diego. After graduating, she worked for a Southern California biomedical device company, Biosite Inc., which specializes in rapid test cardiac assays. After relocating to Dallas, she performed genotyping for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
-Dr. Spector completed her acupuncture certification from Parker University's Post-Graduate Training, and successfully passed the National Boards of Chiropractic Examiners Acupuncture exam.
-Dr. Spector is married with three children and loves to run and travel.
-Dr. Spector has been a chiropractic patient herself for most of her life. She started seeing a chiropractor after her mother had seen a chiropractor who successfully treated the back pain that she had suffered with since being ejected from a car as a teenager. Throughout her high school and college athletic career, Dr. Spector relied on chiropractic care to keep her injury-free and to optimize her athletic performance. She decided to become a chiropractor because her chiropractor had been the only doctor who she felt ever cared about her and listened to her.
